Medley hotel Athens is situated in the vibrant Psyrri neighborhood of Athens, completed in February
2024. The hotel’s concept revolves around music, with a design inspired by a medley—a blend of diverse
elements, much like a musical composition featuring various tunes woven into a cohesive piece. We
artfully orchestrated a harmonious fusion of colors, textures, and shapes drawn from each song to
convey the feeling of each room's song to the guest. This “melody medley” approach offers a modern
visualization of classical aesthetics in a neoclassical building that dates back to 1890. The design and
renovation process focused on preserving historical elements and distinctive architectural features,
while ensuring optimal functionality for both guests and staff, with an emphasis on using natural, eco-
friendly, and recyclable materials. Inspired by the idea that “the classic is the only thing we know about
the future”, the design philosophy creates a unique and immersive experience.
Each room at Medley is uniquely decorated, reflecting the essence of a different musical piece. For
instance, Never on Sunday loft is a charming retreat inspired by the timeless melodies of Manos
Hadjidakis. Nestled in a cozy ergonomic attic, this room celebrates beautiful design and natural colors,
evoking the spirit of Greece’s musical heritage. Nostalgia Suite is a serene sanctuary inspired by the
evocative melody of Yanni’s timeless composition. This spacious retreat beckons with its blend of
natural colors and timeless design elements, inviting you to immerse yourself in a journey of
reminiscence and tranquility. As for Madama Butterfly Suite, here, the timeless beauty of Maria Callas’
operatic masterpiece is brought to life in every detail.
